About me
Hi, I’m Jenny—and I’ve been running toward something since sixth grade.
I started running because I was bad at basketball. True story. My first cross country race was a massive invitational, and from the moment I ran alongside hundreds of other athletes, I was hooked. I didn’t just enjoy the race—I felt alive. That runner’s high, the thrill of competition, and the drive to get better never left me.
I ran cross country and track throughout middle and high school, eventually earning a partial scholarship to compete on a Division I college team. It was in college that I was first introduced to strength training—but like many female athletes, I was told to “keep it light” so I wouldn’t get “too bulky.” Meanwhile, I watched other women lift heavy and move with power and confidence, and I knew I wanted that too.
After college, feeling a bit burnt out from running, I took time off and dove into strength training and CrossFit. I loved how strong it made me feel—physically and mentally. That chapter led me to Spartan races, and eventually, back to the trails. With a stronger body and a healthier mindset, I fell in love with running all over again. Trail running quickly became my passion.
From there, the distances grew. First a trail marathon. Then a 50K. Then 50 miles. Then 100. Each new challenge taught me something about grit, joy, and how far we can go when we stop putting limits on ourselves. I’ve run the Boston Marathon (in the legendary 2018 storm), crushed ultras on rugged terrain, and discovered what it really means to move with strength and purpose.
Now, I bring that ultra mindset and passion for movement into coaching—helping runners and lifters of all levels feel strong, empowered, and excited about what their bodies can do. No matter what you’re training for or where you're starting from, I’ll be right there with you—coaching, encouraging, and believing in your goals as fiercely as you do.
